The Girls! busy making their cards 🙂 Just missing Megan — but she was over with her adorable 18 month old daughter, Aubree. Unfortunately they couldn’t stay.
Once a month, “the girls,” get together for craft night. A day is picked, the card or sentiment is chosen and everyone comes over to my house to make the card. We take turns bringing dessert and a bottle of wine and I always have tea and coffee, pop and water on hand. Haley brought dessert this time. We got to make our own individual fresh strawberry shortcakes 🙂 They were soooo good! I have come to love these monthly get-togethers.
Last night, was one such night. The girls had seen the Fabulous You card I had cased from last years SU annual catalogue and that was the card they all wanted to make. To make things a little more interesting, instead of copying mine, everyone chose their own colour combination and card stock and they were able to use the sentiments from Sassy Salutations or Wacky Wishes (a discontinued Hostess set.)
*Drum Roll Please*
These were their results:
Aren’t they amazing?? I just love this stamp set and everyone made them just a little bit differently.
Happy Craftin’ everyone 🙂

First of four posts.
Bowl of Cherries is one of four stamps in the new Giggle Greetings stamp set. I created a super simple card using paper and inks from the brights collection and a touch of bling.
Using Crystal Effects really helped to give the individual cherries a little depth. Can you see it?
- Stamp set: Giggle Greetings
- Ink/Markers: Real Red; Basic Gray; Tangerine Tango; Daffodil Delight
- Cardstock: Real Red for base; Whisper White; Polka Dot Parade DSP
- Big Shot: Labels Collection Framelits
- Embellishments: Rhinestone; Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon; blender pen; Crystal Effects
- Adhesive: SNAIL; glue dots; dimensionals
Happy Creating 🙂
As you know my photography skills leave much to be desired, this card is much more dynamic in person. The coffee cup is fussy cut and raised with dimensions. The “tickets” are secured with the vintage button brad. The printed cardstock is from the SAB products (now unavailable.)
- Stamp set: Perfect Blend
- Ink: basic black and crumb cake
- Cardstock: SAB Sycamore Street (not available); whisper white; smoky slate
- Notecards and Envelopes
- Embellishments: bakers twine; vintage brads
- Adhesive: SNAIL; dimensionals; glue dots
Have a great weekend everyone!
The owl was so cute, I had to make another one!
